All of this....and she's still smiling?

We went for our weekly Dr. appt. on Monday. Everything is still going great. They measured each baby and were able to come up with approximate weights for them. "Baby A" weighed in at a healthy weight of 2 lbs. 15 oz. She was the biggest of the three and being the only female in the group I am sure that God is preparing her to be the strongest as well. "Baby B" and "Baby C" both weighed in at 2 lbs. 10 oz. All three are measuring ahead of their gestational schedule. The Dr. was very encouraged and said that Lacy had met the first milestone of 28 weeks and that the survival rate if they were born at this point is 90%!!! Praise God!! The next milestone will be 32 weeks and his goal of 34-36 weeks is still in reach. Every time that we go, we get more and more amazing pictures. Here are a couple that we would like to share with you. The first picture is "Baby B". We think that he is going to be the most photogenic of the group. He must take after his oldest sister, Courtney. The second is of "Baby C". This is the first high resolution picture that we have been able to get of him. As you can see, Lacy is literally about ready to pop. She is 28 weeks pregnant, but measuring as though she is 42 weeks pregnant!! Doesn't she look great?!! We thought you all might want to see what she looks like at this stage. Hopefully we can get a couple more pictures on here before the babies are born. Stay tuned. As always, thanks to everyone for their continued support. We could not get through this without all of our friends, family, and church family. Please continue to pray for Lacy and the babies and that the Dr.'s will have the wisdom to know when exactly to take the babies.

Eight Weeks and Counting

We are down to the last eight weeks or so. Last week we went to the Dr. and he said that his goal remains to get Lacy to 34-36 weeks. Ideally he said he would like to be right around the 34 or 35 week range to cut down on any risks that could occur after that. The procedure that she had 4 weeks ago seems to be doing the job and the bedrest is helping out too. THANK YOU to all who have come in and helped out in our house and to those of you who have brought meals. Also, thank you to all who have been praying dillegently for us. We are truly blessed to have family and friends that help us out with the physical needs, and who lift us up in prayer. We could never repay your kindness and your thoughtfulness. Just know that in eight short(or long) weeks we will be able to see the fruits of the effort that has been put forth. Lacy also got two steroid shots at her last dr. appt. to help with lung development in case of pre-term labor. We go back this week to get a cervical measurement, and we will go later this month and get the weights and lengths of each baby. Here are some of the latest pictures that we got from last visit. We think that Baby "B" looks a lot like Zack. It will be interesting to see if he looks like Zack when he is born. If this holds true, then that means that there could be two boys who look a lot like their dad. Please pray for them, that they will outgrow this misfortune and maybe resemble their mom more :) . As you can see in the picture above, he is saying, "Oh no!" "I look like my dad."
