Our Alien Encounter

Today we had both a "normal" ultrasound as well as a 3D ultrasound. The 3D scan was really cool and yet a little scary. All the parts were not fully developed so the babies looked a little alien-like. The first picture from each set is from the 3D scan. We are thrilled to report each baby to be very healthy and growing normally. All 3 of them weighed 3 oz and are 3 inches long. The technician was a little hesitant as to their genders at a 14 week gestation, but thought she could tell. However, she refused to document them until the next scan when the parts are more developed allowing her to be more certain. We were fine with her "guessing" since she was able to point out "parts" on each one.
The first is baby A which we believe to be a GIRL!!!! She said nothing appeared to be "growing" between the legs, and pointed out parts which are indicative of girl anatomy.

BABY A profile via "normal" scan.

Next is baby B...as you can see, the legs are crossed at the ankles, allowing us full view between the upper parts of the legs. There was an obvious "growth" which leads us to believe we have a little BOY growing inside. Praise the LORD! We were praying for at least one boy for little Zack!

Here is baby C....believed to be another BOY! Again there were definite views of what looked to be boy parts!!! I guess now we are "evened out"! Who would have thought 3 of each???!!! Of course, we are not going to run out and buy both pink and blue yet. Maybe after next visit when it might be confirmed.
